Knitting Patterns
No crocheting and no knitting in this afghan--all you have to do is weave yarn through rayon lace curtain material and knot the ends of yarn into tassels. It's the simplest thing in the world to do--and it certainly looks wonderful!

Crochet afghans designed for contemporary decors. In this book, we set out to prove that afghans, those favorite institutions of the American family, do not have to be kept in a closet because they do not fit into our modern rooms. Frankly, we were tired of frantically rummaging around on the first frosty fall evening and decided that afghans ought to be display pieces, kept proudly to the fore at all times. We considered the prevailing fashions in decoration, then created designs to complement them. We are proud of our baby afghans and are sure you will agree that they are truly designed for contemporary decors.
