Jack Frost Wintuk Knitting Worsted—4 2-oz. Skeins, or
Jack Frost Knitting Worsted—2 4-oz. Skeins
One Pr. Standard No. 2 Needles
One Pr. Standard No. 4 Needles
1 12-inch ZipperCrochet Hook No. 5

BACK: With No. 2 needles, cast on 56 sts. K 2, P 2, for 2 inches. Change needles, No. 4.
Knit 1 row, purl 1 row to underarm 8½ inches.
Bind off 3 sts each side, then K 2 tog. each side every other row 3 times, work even for 1½ inches.

YOKE: K 2, P 2, for 2 row, P 2, K 2 for 2 rows, repeat these 4 rows until armhole measures 4½ inches. Bind off 5 sts at the beginning of each row 3 times each side. Bind off.

RIGHT FRONT: With No. 2 needles, cast on 32 sts. K 2, P 2 for 2 inches. Change needles No. 4, Knit 1 row, Purl 1 row to underarm 8½ inches. Bind off 3 sts at armhole side, then K 2 together at armhole side every other row 3 times, work 1½ inches.

YOKE: Work in pattern until armhole measures 3 inches, bind off 8 sts at neck edge, then K 2 together at neck edge every row 3 times, work even until armhole measures the same as back. Bind off 5 sts from shoulder edge every other row 3 times.

Work left front the same.

SLEEVE: With No. 2 needles, cast on 32 sts. K 2, P 2 for 2 inches. Change needles No. 4, Knit 1 row, Purl 1 row, increasing 1 st each side every 6th row 8 times.
Work even until sleeve measures 8 inches.
Bind off 3 sts each side, then K 2 tog. each side every other row until 15 sts are left, bind off.

Sew shoulders, underarm and sleeves seams. Sew sleeve in place.

NECKBAND: On right side of garment, pick up 48 sts. K 2, P 2 for 1 inch.
Bind off.

Crochet 2 rows of single cr. on each front.
