Size 40—8 ozs.
Size 42—9 ozs.
1 oz. each Blue, Scarlet, Green and Canary or Buttercup for all sizes.
1 pr. each knitting needles No. 1 and No. 3

MATERIALS: CHADWICK'S RED HEART SOCK AND SWEATER YARN, 3 Ply, Shrink-and-Stretch Resist Finish, Art. E.255: 5 (6, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7) skeins of No. 420 Natural. ... Milwards "Phantom" Aluminum Knitting Pins or Clark's O.N.T. Plastic Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 1 (2½ mm. size) and 1 pair No. 3 (3 mm. size).

You will be astonished at how fast this sweater will be finished!

COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply ("Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 12 (12, 13, 13) ounces of No. 909 Scarlet.

Knitting needles, 1 pair No. 8 and No. 10.

GAUGE:

Stockinette St—4 sts = 1 inch; 11 rows = 2 inches.

Cable Panel—13 sts = 2¾ inches; 11 rows = 2 inches.

Columbia Scotch Yarn. 4 ounce skeins, 3 skeins Khaki, 8853.

Needles:

Columbia Celluloid or Boye Non-inflammable Needles, size 5.

Gauge:

6 sts = 1 inch. 8 rows = 1 inch.
