MATERIALS:
J. & P. Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen, 2 balls for each size for Classic Cotton Gloves.
Chadwick's Red Heart Baby Wool, 2 balls (¾ oz. balls) for each size for Classic Wool Lining.
Set of 4 double-pointed steel knitting needles No. 14.

GAUGE: 9 sts make 1 inch; 12 rnds make 1 inch.

Then work in pattern as follows: 1st and 2nd rnds: K around. 3rd rnd: * K 1, p 1. Repeat from * around. These 3 rnds constitute the pattern. Work in pattern for

Start increasing for Thumb gore on next rnd as follows: Work in pattern across first 4 sts of 1st needle, place a marker, inc next st—to inc 1 st, knit first in the front loop and then in back loop of the same st, k 1 st, inc 1 st, place a second marker. K remainder of rnd. On next rnd transfer the markers onto right-hand needle. The sts between the markers are Thumb sts. Inc in the st after the 1st marker and before the 2nd marker every 3rd rnd until there are between markers
