CHADWICK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 2 oz. skeins of White or any solid color, 1¾ oz. skeins of Mexicana

Father's or Son's Set (consisting of Cap and Mittens) requires 2 skeins of White or any solid color, and 1 skein of Mexicana.

Mother's Set (consisting of Ski Socks, Mittens and Short Stocking Hat) requires 5 skeins of White or any solid color and 2 skeins of Mexicana.

Materials Required — AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" KNITTING WOOL or "DAWN" KNITTING WORSTED.
2—1¼ oz Skeins.
4 Double Pointed Bone Needles Number 1.

MATERIALS REQUIRED—American Thread Company "Dawn" Knitting Worsted Shaded or Solid Colors.

2- 1¾ or 2 ounce Skeins.

1 Set Double Pointed Steel Knitting Needles No. 13.

Cast on 34 sts, 10-12-12 join, being careful not to twist stitches. P 1 round, K 1 round. Repeat these 2 rounds 5 times, continue work in stockinette st, (K each round). Work even for 2½ inches.

Sock Sizes – 7½ to 10
Mitten Sizes – 4, 5, 6

MATERIALS:
CHADWICK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 2 skeins (2 oz. skeins) of main color and 1 skein of contrasting color for Socks; 1 skein of main color and 1 skein of contrasting color for Mittens.
For the set you will need 3 skeins of main color and 1 skein of contrasting color.
5 double-pointed bone needles No. 4.
4 double-pointed bone needles No. 2.
20 small bells.

CHADWICK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 4 balls (1 oz. balls).
Clark's O.N.T. Bone Sock Needles, 1 set No. 5.

GAUGE: 5½ sts 1 inch; 7 rnds make 1 inch.

Cast on loosely on one needle 36 sts (38 sts, 40 sts).

Divide sts on 3 needles and join, being careful not to twist sts. Work around in ribbing of k 1, p 1, for
3" (3", 3½").

NOTE: Use blue yarn for Snow Man's scarf and hat. White yarn for body part of snow man. Embroider face, buttons and arms with blue yarn.
