MATERIALS: Chadwick's Red Heart Knitting Worsted, 8 balls (1 oz. balls) of Scarlet for Small and Medium Sizes and 9 balls for Large Size. Scraps of Blue, Yellow and Green Knitting Worsted for Trim ... Bone Crochet Hook No. 5 ... Double- pointed Bone Sock Needles, 1 set No. 5 (4 mm. size).

MATERIAL:

1 set sock needles No. 3
Ribbon for trimming.

PATTERN:
1st row: * K 1, slip 1 st. as if to P (yarn in front of work).

Repeat from * across row, end slip 1.

Repeat this row for pattern.

MATERIAL-4 skeins of color Woolco Germantown Zephyr. 3 steel needles No. 14. No. 3 ½ Woolco hook. ¾-yard elastic.

Cast on 16 stitches.

1ST AND 2D ROWS-*Knit 2, purl 2.* Repeat across row.

3D AND 4TH ROWS-*Purl 2, knit 2.*
