2—70 yd. skeins Contrasting Color (CC)
1 Pr. Knitting Needles No. 9 OR ANY SIZE NEEDLES WHICH WILL RESULT IN STITCH GAUGE BELOW

GAUGE:  2 blocks = 1½ inches; 6 rows = 1 inch

Materials Required—

2-1 oz. Balls Blue or any Color desired.
1-1 oz. Ball White for trim, 1 ½ yds. narrow ribbon.
4 double pointed Bone Knitting Needles #3. 
Bone Crochet Hook #2 or #3.

Cast on 3 needles 48 sts (16-16-16) and K 3 rounds.

4th Round—Begin spiral pattern * K 3, P 3, repeat from *all around. Repeat the 4th round 3 times.

Next 4 Rounds—** P 1, * K 3, P 3, repeat from * all around ending each round with P 2.

MATERIALS: BOTANY COLOSSAL, 2 oz. skeins, 2 (3-3) skeins. 
BUCILLA HANDI-YARN, ART. 028, 2 cards of Contrasting Color. 
KNITTING NEEDLES: 1 pair "Boye" Non-Inflammable Needles, Size 11-OR SIZE YOU REQUIRE TO KNIT TO GAUGE GIVEN BELOW.

GAUGE: 3 sts = 1 inch

Cast on 25 (29-35) sts.

Row 1 - wrong side - K 9 (10-12), p 1, k 5 (7-9), p 1, k 9 (10-12) sts.

4 double pointed bone knitting needles #6. 
Bone crochet hook #4 or 5. 
1 pair leather soles.

With White on three needles cast on 50 sts (18-16-16) and work in ribbing of K 1, P 1 for 2 inches.

Next 5 Rounds—P 1, K 6, P 1, K remainder of round.

MATERIALS REQUIRED—American Thread Company "Dawn" Pompadour Yarn.

2¾-oz. Balls White.
2¾-oz. Balls Blue or Pink.
1 yd. Narrow Ribbon.
3 Double pointed Steel Knitting Needles No. 13.

With White, cast on 40 sts rather loosely, * P 1 row, K 1 row, repeat from * twice.

Attach Blue and P 2 rows, then K 1 row, P 1 row, K 1 row, P 1 row.

Repeat these 12 rows until there are 9 White and 9 Blue stripes.

Next row begin shaping toe, continue in pattern.

Decrease every 5th st and work 5 rows even.
