Materials—Fleisher’s Fleecy Zephyr, 10 skeins and White Knitting Needles, 1 pair Size 6; or Fleisher’s Superior Knitting Worsted, 7 skeins and White Knitting Needles, 1 pair Size 5.
Fleisher’s De Luxe Germantown, 1 ball For Embroidery.
Gauge: Double Strand of Fleecy Zephyr
11 sts = 2 inches
15 rows = 2 inches
Knitting Worsted 11 sts = 2 inches
7 rows = 1 inch

Note—Use double strand of Fleecy Zephyr and Size 6 needles; or single strand of Knitting Worsted and Size 5 needles.

Cast on 197 sts.

First row—(right side)—K 1, * p 1, k 1; repeat from * to end. Repeat first row 7 times for seed st border.

9th row—K 1, p 1, k 1, p 1, k 1, * k 27, k 1, p 1, k 1, p 1, k 1 (seed st stripe); repeat from * to end.
