MATERIALS:
CHADWICK'S RED HEART BABY WOOL (¾ oz. balls), 4 balls of main color, and 1 ball of contrasting color for each size.
Clark's O.N.T. Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 1 and 1 pair No. 3.
GAUGE: 7½ sts make 1 inch; 10 rows make 1 inch.

FRONT … With No. 1 needles and main color, cast on

Work in ribbing of k 2, p 2, for 1½ inches. Change to No. 3 needles and work in stockinette st (k 1 row, p 1 row) for 6 rows.
Divide contrasting color into 2 balls and work as follows: 1st row: With main color, knit

FRONT NECKBAND … With No. 1 needles and main color, pick up 52 sts around side and front of neck. Change to contrasting color and work in ribbing of k 1, p 1, for 6 rows. Bind off loosely in ribbing.
BACK NECKBAND … Work same as Front Neckband but pick up only 40 sts.
Press lightly with hot iron through damp cloth. Sew side and sleeve seams with one continuous seam. Sew seams in neck­band.
