Size 9-11
MATERIAL:
  2 balls Sockyarn 3  ply (1 oz. ball) for sizes 9-10 
  3 balls Sockyarn 3  ply (1 oz. ball) for sizes 10½-11 
  1 set bone sock  needles No. 1 for smaller sizes 
  1 set bone sock needles  No. 2 for larger sizes 
GAUGE: 7 sts. = 1 inch
   Seed st. Pattern for cuff: 1st round: * K4, P1, K1, P1, K1, P1, repeat from * all around. 2nd round: * K4, K1,  P1, K1, P1, K1, repeat from * all around. Repeat these 2 rounds for pattern. 
     Cast on 64 sts. (20-20-24) on No. 1 needles.  (No. 2 needles for larger sizes.) Join and work in ribbing K1, P1, for 4  rounds. Decrease 1 st at end of last round. Change to seed st. pattern and work  for 2½ inch (larger sizes 3 inch). Turn work inside out (wrong side of cuff is  right side of sock). Decreasing 4 sts. evenly across first round, K plain for 3¼  inch, (larger sizes 4¼ inch). Now divide the sts. as follows: for heel slip on  one needle 30 sts. and divide the remaining 30 sts. evenly on the two instep  needles. Work over heel sts. only. 1st row: slip 1, K across. 2nd  row: slip 1, P across. Repeat these 2 rows for 26 rows (larger sizes 30  rows) ending with a P row. Turn heel on right side: slip 1, K16, K2 tog.  K1, turn. Slip 1, P5, P2 tog. P1, turn. Slip 1, K6, K2 tog. K1, turn. Slip 1,  P7, P2 tog., P1, turn. Slip 1, K8, K2 tog., K1, turn. Slip 1, P9, P2 tog. P1,  turn. Continue this way always working 1 more st. on each row until 18 sts. are  left on needle. K across heel needle. With another needle pick up and K14 sts.  (for larger sizes 16 sts.) along side of heel (1st needle). K across all instep  sts. (2nd needle). With another needle pick up and K14 sts. (for larger sizes,  16 sts.) along other side of heel and K on to the same needle 9 sts. of heel  needle (3rd needle). Slip remaining 9 sts. of heel needle on to first needle,  ending at center of sole. Decrease for instep as follows: 1st round: K  around. 2nd round: On first needle K to within 3 sts., K2 tog., K1. On  2nd needle K across. On 3rd needle K1, slip 1, K1 and pass the slipped st. over  the K st. K to end. Repeat these 2 rounds until there are 56 sts. (for larger  sizes, 60 sts.) left in round. Work even until sock measures from back of heel  for size 9-7 inch, for size 9½-7½ inch, for size 10-8 inch, for size 10½-8½  inch, for size 11-9 inch or 2 inch less than desired length when finished. Now  shape toe as follows: 1st round: K around. 2nd round: K to  within 3 sts. of first needle K2 tog. K1. On 2nd needle K1, slip 1, K1 and pass  the slipped st. over the K st., K to within 3 sts., K2 tog. K1. On 3rd needle K1,  slip 1, K1, and pass the slipped st. over the K st. K to end. Repeat these 2  rounds until there are 24 sts. left (for all sizes). Weave sts. together.
