1 Pr. Standard No. 5 Needles

SCALE: 7½ sts to 1 in.

Jack Frost Fingering Fleece—4  1-oz. Balls

BACK: With No. 2 Needles cast on 99 sts. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 3½ in. Change to No. 5 Needles and P 1 row increasing to 128 sts at even intervals across row. Work even in pattern as given for Fingering Fleece Pullover Pattern until piece measures 10 in. from lower edge. Bind off 8 sts at beginning of each of next 2 rows for underarm; then 2 sts at beginning of next 10 rows. Work even until piece measures 8 in. from underarm . Bind off 9 sts at beginning of each of next 6 rows for shoulders. Change to No. 2 Needles increasing to 37 sts. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 8 rows. Bind off.

FRONT: Work same as given for back until piece measures 6 in. from underarm. Work over 33 sts; place on st-holder. Bind off next 26 sts for front of neck. On remaining 33 sts, work 2 rows even; decrease 1 st at neck edge every other row 6 times. Work even until piece measures 8 in. from underarm. Starting at shoulder edge, bind off 9 sts every other row 3 times. Work other side to correspond.

FRONT NECKBAND: With No. 2 Needles on right side of garment, pick up 75 sts from shoulder to shoulder. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 8 rows. Bind off. Sew shoulder seams.

ARMHOLE BANDS: With No. 2 Needles on right side of garment, pick up 165 sts from end to end of armhole. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 8 rows. Bind off.

Sew underarm seams.
